It just strikes me as a bit daft to have that much weight sitting so far forward to the muzzle...it likely dampens the hell out of the muzzle rise at first but then it constantly changes. Also, any sweeping motions with all that forward ballast would be quite interesting to stop...although a little skeet shooting with this design MIGHT help Scotty get his "gun muscles" back!!
